About Dan

Dan Jenkins is a Leadership & Organizational Studies Professor at the University of Southern Maine. He earned his Ph.D. in Curriculum & Instruction with an emphasis in Higher Education Administration as well as an M.A. in Political Science from the University of South Florida and a B.S. in Communication Studies from The Florida State University. His primary research interests include leadership education, teaching & learning, program assessment & evaluation, diversity, and higher education policy. Dan is the current chair of the International Leadership Association Leadership Education Member Interest Group, Secretary of the Association of Leadership Educators, Association Liaison for the National Association of Student Personnel Administrators Student Leadership Programs Knowledge Community, and Co-Chair of the Leadership Education Academy. In addition, Dan has published numerous articles and presents nationally and internationally.
